This episode was titled ‘Kiss Me Kate’. Her life was already complicated as it was but she was not getting any break as things sort of got compounded. She was involved with Ben last week in something that left him smitten while she was still reeling from the effect.

Did anyone see the look on Ben face when she agreed on a date? He looked like a sixteen year old who had just asked the girl of his dreams out and she accepted! But Kate just wasn’t ready to take the simple road as she found herself in bed with Justin.
The bad thing with this is that it was not about reconciliation but about fear. Yes they used to be married and there were fans that were still rooting for them to get back together. But she ran into him to avoid the issue with Ben. It had nothing to do with love or forgiveness. Meanwhile Justin would naturally be left thinking that they were getting back together. But it is clear that nothing will eventually come out of this.
As for Benn he was stood up and received a cruel text message that it was not going to happen. He then went looking for her only to be further crushed when he was told that she went to see her ex husband. He quickly went back into his shell where he barks at everyone and does not give a hoot about who he hurts.
Kate seems to have complicated issues for two other people just because she could not deal with one. And she has ended up adding more issues that would hurt her. His father Judge Nicastro was on screen in this episode. He defended Kate who also saved him from loosing his job. The union dispute would have caused both of them harm but they stood for each other.
The firm is in troubled waters financially and the wisdom in investing in a fifty thousand dollars worth of painting may be hard to see i.e. if there is any wisdom in it at all. Lauren could have offered to be the kid’s benefactor art wise but she didn’t. The surprising thing was that Ben actually went looking for the kid.
How will Kate get of this current predicament? Will Ben come out of his shell and try to live again and will Kate have something to do with it? As for Justin, how is he going to react if he ever comes to know the real reason why Kate went to bed with him?
